2 Apple Cider Vinegar Recipes for Yeast Infection and Diabetes Control

Apple cider vinegar is an excellent natural remedy for yeast infections. It has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that can help eliminate the bacteria that trigger yeast infections, and it can also contribute to alleviating the itching and painful rashes associated with yeast infections.

But did you know that apple make our cells more sensitive to insulin by as much as 19% to 34%, but it can also help reduce blood sugar levels. Apple cider vinegar is known to slow down the process by which carbohydrates are converted into glucose, which our blood will them absorb. With apple cider vinegar slowing down the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose, there will be a slower absorption of glucose by the blood, resulting in lower blood sugar levels.

If you want to add apple cider vinegar to your diet, then here are a couple of recipes to try.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Water

The most popular method of using apple cider vinegar is by diluting it with water and drinking it as is. All you need to do is to add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water, stir it with a spoon, and drink.

You can also try the apple cider vinaigrette as a salad dressing. The ingredients you need are:

  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons each of raw and organic honey and fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions for making the vinaigrette:

  1. Combine everything in a bowl.
  2. Mix well until thoroughly combined
  3. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Store in a container and let it marinate for at least half an hour before adding the vinaigrette to your favorite veggies.

This vinaigrette can last up to a week if you keep it in your refrigerator. Of note though, be sure to give it a good shake before using.

These two recipes can help control not only your yeast infection but diabetes as well.
