Chia seeds are also high in fiber, are anti-inflammatory, and may even be able to assist with weight loss.




How to Get Chia Seeds into Your Diet

Chia seeds are super easy to consume. If you are craving sugar and you want a quick way of consuming them, you can easily add one tablespoon of chia seeds to a few tablespoons of water to make a gel, and then enjoy.

Here are some other ways to add this superfood seeds to your diet:

  • Mixed in with your yogurt
  • On top of your oatmeal
  • Added to a smoothie

Next time you are craving something sweet, try some chia seeds instead. You may be surprised to see your sugar craving fade away!

Dark Cocoa Chia Seed Pudding

Serving: 2

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. raw unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Transfer to glass jars cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Stir before enjoying.
