Drinking while eating keeps me sober.

While eating does slow down the absorption of alcohol, rest assured that the alcohol will eventually end up hitting your bloodstream.

Coffee and a cold shower are just what the doctor orders to keep me sober.

How a cold shower can help you to “sober up” is unknown to me since the alcohol still remains in your system. A cup of Java will keep your eye wide open but will do nada to helping you sober up. No need to fret about people who pass out. It’s all part of being drunk.

Did you know that the amount of alcohol needed to shut down your brain is a fraction away from declaring you dead?
